Kenny and Cindy Brown live on their family farm in rural Tennessee with their two younger children, Brianna and Alyssa. Brooke, their firstborn, resides in Missouri; and their son, Bryce, in Nashville. After spending more than 25 years as worship leaders and church planters, the Browns chose a life in the country, where Kenny specializes in off-grid building, and Cindy and their two younger daughters oversee the farm. They host a home fellowship and have a passion for studying and sharing God’s Word. All of the children share their love of music, as well, everyone singing, playing various instruments, and songwriting.
The Browns have been learning and returning to the Hebrew roots of their faith since 2006, when their journey began at a Bible study in their Florida home. Since moving to Tennessee in 2010, their life has expanded to include off-grid homesteading, organic gardening, natural animal husbandry, and organizing food co-ops to network local farms with health-conscious consumers. Their farm currently hosts goats, chickens, turkeys, Jersey milk cows, two guard dogs, and ten cats, and life is never boring. Their vision is to be pleasing to their heavenly Father, wholly healthy as a family, self-sustaining as a farmstead, and to be salt and light to their community.
